Anyone else catch Gaile in Tombs last night?
Had a pleasant and surprising visit from Gaile in Tombs Dist 1 last night. The official word is that there is a build in the oven right now to fix the new bugs with Thunderclap et.al. She did express interest in the idea of being able to tweak PvP characters without deleting them, and did take note of the bug in the ranger interrupt delay. If anyone got screenshots, that would be nice... for the most part it was quite civil.

Well it's good to know that the Thunderclap issue is going to be resolved. What bug in the ranger delay? I don't play rangers much so I'm not up to speed on that.
Did she say anything about the progress on Observer Mode?

SO! There really is a bug with the ranger interrupt delay, I told everyone and I was flamed, I sent support some information and they never repiled.
Coudld you tell us what the bug is as she understands it? I report that the issue is after firing off a interrupt shot you ranger is unable to do anything, not even fire normal attacks... which is incorrect... only skills should become unuseable.

the bug is that the delay does not work. even after using skills, you can spam interupts and it does not have a delay in between skills. they are going to make the delay include interupts as well. or at least thats logically what they should do, eliminating ranger spike.

Yeah, it's the bug that after an interrupt you pretty much can't do a bloody thing, not even walk.

The delay is after firing an interrupt. Interrupts have an extremely quick fire, so yes, you can fire dual shot/distracting shot rather quickly. However, after firing distracting shot you stand there and count flowers instead of being able to even move.
The delay should only occur between firing consecutive interrupts, to be honest. All other shots have a longer firing time already, so there's neither need nor sense to stack delays when trying to do, say, distracting then dual shot.

So the interrupt delay will get a nice buff instead of standing there like a mofo? GREAT!

Anything said about the Gash or Illusion of Weakness bug?
Both are in the same vein of the base hp being calculated incorrectly.
I have little experience with the Illusion of Weakness one, but Gash is stacking in a weird way now and it's very anoying, as has been mentioned in several other posts.

The deep wound stack was indeed mentioned. She didn't have explicit details on every fix, however the new build under construction should fix many things.
Ah... she did say she would see if the frog would like a pond in the tombs... that could be interesting...

I was there. People were complaining about IWAY. If your monk trifecta can't counter IWAY, they don't need to be monking.

I never was able to solo an IWAY team - can you say how your monks do it?

If 3 monks (with whatever) was all it took to beat IWAY, IWAY would had fizzled long ago and people wouldn't complain to Gaile about it.
But sure, go ahead and underestimate them like that. They are in for the easy fame anyway!

people complain about them for 2 reasons.
1) over half the teams you run across in tombs are IWAY
2) most PUG's lose to IWAY unless youre finding a pug for a specific build. the random blind invite PUG dont stand a chance against iway

True but is it really iway's fault for rolling unprepared pugs? I despise Iway because of reason #1 and its more like 75% in tombs dis 1.

And to turn this around a bit.... If your team can't beat an Iway team or 2 on the way to the hall then I'm sorry but I have no sympathy for you as you don't deserve to be in the hall, let alone win it.
In that way, I think IWAY is a good thing. It acts as a filter and raises the level of play in the hall. Maybe!!
